Do you offer in person services or is everything virtual?
Both.
CB House offers virtual design nationwide and in person services locally. Virtual works beautifully for most projects and gives you a clear plan you can execute at your own pace. If you are local and want hands on styling, layout support, or walkthroughs, we can absolutely do that.
 
Are you a licensed interior designer?
No.
I provide strategic design direction, material selections, and layout guidance. I do not provide architectural drawings, structural plans, or technical cabinetry documentation.
Think of me as your design strategist and decision filter before real money gets spent.
 
What happens after the complimentary intro call?
After our call, I will send a tailored proposal based on your space, scope, and goals. You will know exactly what is included, what it costs, and what the timeline looks like before anything begins.
No vague pricing. No surprise add ons.
 
How long does a project take?
The Edit is typically delivered within one to two weeks.
The Plan is usually two to three weeks depending on revision rounds.
The Strategy timeline varies based on renovation scope, but most projects are delivered within three to four weeks before construction begins.
Clear expectations are set upfront.
 
Can you work within my budget?
Yes. That is the point.
Unlacquered brass and marble in your budget? Amazing. Let’s do it.
Not in your budget? We will make smart substitutions that still feel elevated and intentional.
My goal is not to make you spend more. It is to help you spend well.
 
Will you tell me if something is not working?
Yes. Lovingly. But yes.
You are hiring me for clarity and confidence. If something feels off, I will say it. If something is worth investing in, I will say that too.
No ego. Just honesty.
 
What if I only need help choosing paint or one element?
The Edit is perfect for focused direction. If you are unsure which tier fits, start there and we can expand if needed.
 
Do you manage contractors?
I do not manage construction or act as a general contractor. I collaborate and consult to align design decisions with your contractor and vendors, but all construction execution is handled by licensed professionals. This includes everything from hanging shelves to full remodels. I have strong connections with licensed interior designers, contractors, electricians, and plumbers if needed. 
 
What if I change my mind?
Revisions are built into The Plan and The Strategy. The Edit includes one focused refinement round.
Clear boundaries protect both of us and keep the process efficient.
 
Do you offer payment plans?
For larger projects, payment plans can be discussed during the proposal phase.
